Answer: It takes about 2-3 nights of incessive crying for the kid to get rid of the pacifier, so if you want the kid to stop the use of it, pls let the baby cry for a couple of days but don't give it to her... I know its hard, but as she is only 11 months, she will be able to forget the habit very fast, if it goes beyond and year, then you will have a tougher time to get rid off

Question: my baby cries often, i think tats colic pain. how to get rid of that ??? pls give ur sugfestions
Answer: Baby colic, also known as infantile colic, is defined as episodes of crying for more than three hours a day, for more than three days a week, for three weeks in an otherwise healthy child. Often crying occurs in the evening. ... The cause of colic is unknown. A baby who has colic often cries about the same time every day, usually in the late afternoon or evening. Colic episodes may last from a few minutes to three hours or more on any given day. Consider offering her a pacifier, or encourage your baby to suck on her finger by gently putting it in her mouth. Gas doesn't cause colic, but some colicky babies also suffer from gassiness because they tend to swallow air while crying. Keep your baby upright during feedings, and burp him often to try to ease gas pain. Your baby may calm down if you: Lay him on his back in a dark, quiet room. Swaddle him snugly in a blanket. Lay him across your lap and gently rub his back. Try infant massage. Put a warm water bottle on your baby's belly. Have him suck on a pacifier. Soak him in a warm bath.
