Question: Guys pls pls pls help me to solve this low level iron problem. when i start my pregnancy my iron level is 10.and now i am 24 weeks preg, and my iron level is gng low day by day and it went up to 8.8 now. i am eating spinach,beans,iron tablet 100mg 2 times a day. and i am veggie. whatever i do, my HB level is nt rising. its gng low day by day and i am bit worried wat best i shud do further to improve it. Can any of you suggest me or help me in this issue? is i am only person having this problem of 8.8 HB level in 24 weeks pregnancy? or this is common problem that there are also pple having this ???

Answer: Hi. In pregnancy its common that your hb level drops as its not just you who is consuming iron but a life inside you is also need blood for growth because of which hb drops. So youbwill need to have proper iron rich diet to maintain this. Have spinach, pomegranate, oranges etc . Beetroot is also good to improve your hb level. So dont worry and have proper meals.

Answer: Pomegranate is a good source to increase hb level.. having sugar a little bit higher is normal.. Do not add extra sugar in juices.. and for thyroid u can take extra dosage than u were taking when u r normal.. it will not cause any problem as far as I know.. I had the same issue.. so don't worry
