Question: "Placenta is developing along posterior wall reaching upto internal os with grade 0 maturity." Plz tell me kya matlb hai iska??
Answer: Placenta is attached to the uterus and uterus has two walls the anterior wall that is front wall in the posterior wall that is back wall in your case the Placenta is attached to the back wall of the uterus which is considered normal. grading indicates maturity of placenta grade 0 at this week is absolutely normal. But reaching upto os means it is near uterus openingand may cause bleeding but dont worry because placenta at this week will change and there are high chances of placenta to move upwards with the growth of uterus. You need to take some precautions Take bed rest with leg end raised Avoid sexual intercourse for any physical exertion Avoid excessive bending or lifting heavy objects continue your progesterone tablets If you notice vaginal bleeding you should consult your doctor immediately. Repeat the scan to see the status of placenta

Question: "Placenta is developing along posterior wall reaching upto internal os with grade 0 maturity." Plz tell me kya matlb hai iska??
Answer: Placenta reaching up to internal os means you have a low lying placenta. In your case placenta has attached towards cervix portion. In most of the cases by 20 weeks and above as your uterus grows big in size ur placenta may come up.Placenta has been graded from 0 to 3 according to its maturity.Grade 0 placenta is recently formed placenta.Grade 3 placenta is highly matured placenta.Placenta will be of grade 0 if gestation period is less than 18 weeks, grade 1 btwn 18 to 29 weeks ,grade 2 btwn30 to 38 weeks n grade 3 greater than or equal to 39 weeks.Grade 0 placenta is newly formed one and is highly efficient in providing nutrients to the fetus. In your case there is nothing to worry as your placenta is of grade 0 maturity. If in 20 weeks n all if ur placenta reaches grade 2 or 3 maturity it indicates placental insufficiency.
