Question: hi. I'm 36 weeks pregnant. my baby us in breech presanration. is their any chance to come down baby head?
Answer: Congratulations on reaching 36 weeks, you are closer to your delivery date. Baby keeps on moving in mother's womb and keep changing the position till the last moment. However, your baby is big now hence has less room to move around much. There is a technique of turning the baby head which your doctor know . However, there are risks to turning the baby. make sure you have enough fluid to try, usually over 16cm of fluid. The cord can get wrapped around the neck, membreanes can rupture and the placenta can pull away from the uterus. Also, there's no guarentee that the baby won't just turn back to breech after the version. Good Luck!
