Answer: it's common to develop blotchy spots of darker skin when you're pregnant, a condition called melasma or chloasma. Your skin care routine still continues even after your baby is born. Remember to take care of yourself along with your newborn. Know what you should do for skin darkening after pregnancy here: Cover up your skin and do use a sunscreen. Discolorations start fading out after some time and you need not undergo any treatment for that. In case your skin still looks blotchy after pregnancy, be careful to use cosmetics like bleaching cream. Preferably use these once you have stopped feeding your baby. Your doctor may suggest you topical medicines to help you get rid of the patches on your skin. You might also be suggested to go for laser treatments to remove the dark skin. In case you are breast feeding, you must consult with your doctor before taking any medicines.
Answer: It's because of hormones. I don't think we can do anything about complexion. After pregnancy you'll b normal in few months once hormones balanced. Drink plenty of water ..

Question: My baby's skin colour is dark. What i can do to improve his skin tone
Answer: You can make a homemade skin pack by mixing raw milk, turmeric, fresh cream, and gram flour (besan). Apply the thick paste to your baby’s skin softly. After 10-minutes, when the pack tends to dry, use a damp cotton or soft cloth to rub off the pack. The raw milk kills the bacteria, which cause diarrhea and other infectious diseases.Only using oily baby cream can make your little one’s skin greasy and lead to skin rashes in the summer. So, ensure you use this home made paste for best results.
