Question: Doppler scan is different from normal ultrasound why can anybody explain me

Question: My doctor has advised me for color Doppler test.. Why it is done and how is it different from normal ultrasound???
Answer: It is done to check the oxygen and blood flow to the placenta and the baby... It is done through usg only..normal usg does not check for the blood or oxygen flow dear...though when the scan goes on you might not feel any difference.. Hope this helps.
