Answer: Hello dear If you are experiencing pain in the first trimester, or early  in the second, don't blame your baby just yet. A cramping sensation in the early weeks of pregnancy may be due to your expanding uterus. Watch for signs  of vaginal bleeding if you are feeling cramp-like pains.

Question: Hello, Is lower abdomen pain during first trimester normal or should I consult a doctor?
Answer: Hello! Mild pain is normal. But if more or unbearable then please consult the doctor. The pain typically occurs when the uterus expands, causing the ligaments and muscles that support it to stretch. It may be more noticeable when you sneeze, cough, or change positions.
