Answer: Hello dear.... Gestational diabetes is a condition in which a women without diabetes, will have higher blood sugar in pregnancy, you can follow these diet plan, it might be helpful for you... Limit the intake of corbohydrate in your diet , avoid to have white rice ,you can have rice in millet varieties Include more proteins in your diet,that includes dairy products,lean chicken, fish , lentils, nuts and seeds Take lot of vegetables in your diet, avoid starchy vegetables like potatoes , peas ... Because it will increase the sugar level. Intake of fiber rich fruits like apples,pears , guava will help a lot,avoid banana,mango, jackfruit will increase blood sugar value Avoid sugar, caffeine, soft drinks, pastries,oil fried food Exercise Regular exercise in pregnancy will keep your sugar in control,go for mild walk morning and evening Make yourself engaged in some activities Try maternity yoga, don't get stressed, relaxed and be happy, have a safe and happy pregnancy.. Answer: Hi dear here are few tips for diet plan during pregnancy that can help you; Early morning Breakfast- to include something to hydrate and boost up. Include BlanchedAlmonds, a Cup of Milk or a glass of fresh juice as per your taste. Mid Morning- You can go for protein rich options like sprouts, Beans, Upma, Poha, Dal and vegetable daliiya or oatmeal with dry fruits, baked potatoes, broccoli etc. Around 10–11 am hydrate yourself with a glass of coconut water or lassi with bananas or oatmeal cookies For lunch- A typical combination of Dal, bowl of veggies, salads, curd is good to go You can have a high snack between 4–5 and Dinner-For dinner, go for lighter options, like Dal rice, chapati sabzi etc. Followed by a glass of Milk at bed time.
