Answer: Hi! Intercourse is safe in pregnancy but Dr.s suggests to avoid it in the first three months and after that only when its not associated with any complication..like short cervix (the opening of the uterus)...or have previous history of bleeding per vagina..previous abortions...or premature contractions, low lying placenta etc..
