Question: Can u help me. What to eat and not to eat. So many confusion for me about my diet.

Answer: Hello ma'am, The diet to be followed immediately after caesarean should be rich in nutrients such as proteins, minerals, calcium, fibre and iron. What to eat :- 1) protein , mineral and calcium rich food - low fatty dairy products and pulses . 2) whole grains food - pasta, brown bread and brown rice . 3) vitamin rich food - Vegetables like broccoli, spinach and fenugreek and fruits like oranges, papayas, watermelons, strawberries, grapefruits and sweet potatoes . 4) fiber rich food - Oats and Ragi are high in fibre content and also rich sources  . 5) easy to digest food . 6) iron rich deit - egg yolk, meat and dry fruits . 7) dairy product - at least 500ml of dairy products should be consumed daily. 8) Jeera - Jeera help digestion and also helps in the production of milk. 9) ajwain - ajwain also helps in digestion . Avoid :- 1) spicy food 2) alcohol 3) coffee and tea 4) Stay away from foods that form the gas. Food items such as urad dal, chola, rajma, channa, besan, pickles, and vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, bhindi, broccoli and onions should be avoided for at least 40 days from the day of delivery. 5) cold and uncooked food . 6) fast food 7) avoid ghee and rice first 3-4 days of c- section . Answer: Hi dear, As your body is constantly changing and burning lots of calories to support your pregnancy, it's normal to feel exhausted and tired. It's necessary that you eat something at every 2hours. Also drink lots of water and rest well. First trimester is a crucial time proper care is needed to sail through this period. First trimester meal plan- 1. A glass of milk regularly. 2. Bowl of seasonal fruits 3. Bowl of salads 4. Chapatis 5. Bowl of different types of pulses 6. Fibre rich foods like oats, pomegranate with seeds etc 7. Bowl of veggies 8. Iron and calcium rich diet 9. Avoid ajinomoto 10. No Gassy foods 11. Drink plenty of water 12. Include curd, buttermilk and fennel seeds 13. Avoid aerated and caffeinated drinks 14. Dry Fruits
