Question: My hb drop down from 11 to 8 . Can't take iron tablets as i have minor thalassemia. Plz suggest what should i do
Answer: your hb level is too low dear. your hemoglobin level is low..Start having food rich in iron and folic acid-spinach,fenugreek,brocolli,beans,nuts,eggs,dairy products like milk, curd etc.Ask you gynaecologist if transfusion is required. Your haemoglobin should be about 11.0 that is very important because as your baby is growing you are currently in the first trimester only so when your baby is growing and while you will enter in the second trimester your baby will require more iron from your blood so it's very important that your iron content should be more than 1.0 g Foods that contain iron are required to eat properly.
