Question: I am week pregnant and I had spicy food and my stomach is burning now will it be a problem for baby?
Answer: The acidity/heartburn is a common problem in pregnancy due to hormone changes. You can get rid of acidity by drinking lots of water. You can soak the cumin powder in water over night, drink it in the morning, on empty stomach. It helps a lot to reduce acidity. Cold milk also helps. Avoid spicy food and food stuff that is hard to digest. Eat in small portions at regular intervals. Avoid late night eating. Do not consume any tablet/ENO on regular basis, without consulting your gynaecologist..

Question: I'm 7 weeks pregnant. And i slept on my stomach at night by mistake. Was that safe?
Answer: Hi! Its advised to sleep on side during pregnancy. and better to sleep at your left side which increases the blood flow to your placenta and your baby gets the nutrients it needs. Sleeping on your stomach is not a good idea and not even sleeping on back is suggested, your blood vessels are pressed by the baby, and you will nauseated and dizzy also if you have a backpain it will increase. Please support yourself with pillows to sleep well. Good luck!
