20 weeks pregnant mother

Question: As salamu alaikum.. i am 5 months pregnant i am feeling pain in lower back and stomach since 1st month of my pregnancy it is such unbearable that it wont allow me to sleep... I asked many dr. Drs about it but they didnt respond me properly even my gync told she cant prescribe any medicine for it since i am pregnant i cant have too much tablets... I just wanted to know if there is any risk to baby

Answer: Hello! Pain in back is common during pregnancy due to the stretching of the uterus which causes the muscles and the ligaments to stretch. This causes the pain . Same way mild pain in stomach is common during pregnancy. It is also due to the stretching of the uterus. For back pain follow these. 1. Don't bend. If you need to pick anything from the ground then use squats position. 2. Wear comfortable shoes and avoid heels. 3. Sit with proper posture. 4. Go for brisk walk. 5. Drink plenty of water. 6. Take a warm bath or apply hot water bottle wrapped in a towel for relief. 7. Sleep on sides. Take care
