Mashed bananaStewed apple Well steamed and pureed vegetables like carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin , beans, Pulse soup (moong dal ka pani)Rice Water (Chawal ka pani) Homemade single-grain cereals like rice, barley, oats mixed with breastmilk or formula milkSteamed and pureed fruits like pear, avocado, peach, chikoo.You can try the homemade vegetable soup for your baby. Pureed vegetables (sweet potatoes, squash),Pureed fruit (apples, bananas, peaches),Semi-liquid, iron-fortified cereal, Small amounts of unsweetened yogurt (no cow's milk until age 1). Always follow 3 days-wait-rule. That means you must keep a gap of 3 days between two new foods. This is the best way to check food allergies in babies. Stop feeding that particular food in case of food allergy. Don’t add breastmilk or formula milk during cooking, it should not be heated directly on the flame. Add breast milk or formula milk once the food is ready to eat for your baby. Baby food must be soft, properly cooked and easy to chew. Start with a very small quantity of 1 spoon and slowly increase the portion. Weaning food must be a single grain food.Always feed freshly cooked food to your baby. Do not add salt, sugar, honey to your baby’s food till baby is 1 year of age. Good luck.

Answer: Hi mommy Why don't u start with family food. Start introducing finger food like boiled carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, boiled apple slices etc. Start giving the baby 3 meals and 2 snacks. Meals can include breakfast, lunch and dinner Give the baby dosa, idli, chilla, upma, chapati, etc. Make sure the peices are not too big. You can include rice, daal, vegetables fry. Don't give cereoac, purees and juices. Do not give salt and sugar till one year. And remember bm or fm is the main source of nutrition till one year Best is to include the baby in what we eat. This way the baby gets to see you eat and will replicate the same.
