Question
Answer: After the egg fertilized, it travels down your fallopian tube, and gets embedded in your uterus (womb). At exactly this place where the fertilised egg implants in your uterus, your placenta gets formed. Thus, the position where placenta implants and develops may vary from person to person. Anterior placenta, where the placenta is positioned on the front wall of your uterus (womb).

Question: Anterior placenta means what..?
Answer: Anterior placenta, where the placenta is positioned on the front wall of your uterus (womb). That being said, having an anterior placenta may cushion your baby’s movements. This means that: 1.) you may start noticing your baby’s movementsa bit later in your pregnancy 2.) you may feel fewer movements in your second trimester compared to a woman whose placenta is in a different position Having an anterior placenta is known to cause a problem only if the placenta is lying low and you need to have a planned or emergency caesarean section. In this case, you may have a higher risk of bleeding at birth. Hope this helps.
