34 weeks pregnant mother

Question: Am 27 weeks pregnant.. am having severe tooth ache. Dentist told me to undergo root canal treatment. Am also using ecosprin 75 mg. Is it safe to do root canal now. Pls advice

Answer: I don't think Doctors recommend to go for root canal during pregnancy. As it needs to give you anethesia and pain killers which are not recommended during pregnancy. For temporary solution doctors perform filling to stop it from spreading until baby is born.

Question: Dentist told to take mox/ rosicillin 250 and calpol 650 for toothache. Is these medicines safe now. And also told to go for root canal.
Answer: I know about calpol, it's safe. Also now a days dentist use red cloth to protect stomach from x rays. So it won't be problem. But still in doubt if can avoid any more further, avoid it
