13 weeks pregnant mother

Question: Am 13 week pregnancy and my cervical length is 2.2cm preterm delivery approximately which month will happen.. help me for this

Answer: Helllooo... ur cervical lenght should be minimum 3.0cm till it delivery or else ur fetous will realize frm urine without any pains. Maximum take bed rest. Take to two bricks and keep under the bed coat leg each brick side by side were you rest is legs in bed coat and u will have result in every month by increasing ur cervical lenght .

If there is progressive shortening you may require a cervical stitch to close the mouth of the uterus and it will be removed at 37weeks of pregnancy. If the cervical length remain same, then no worries.and if you notice abdominal cramps please consult your doctor immediately

Answer: i will only advise strict bed rest and no standing or moving arround, this is the best we can do. 1 cm is very less. but do not worry and rest only rest will help and improve some times duvadilan or progestin also prescribed to help sustain pregnancy
