Answer: A fetal pole is the earliest sign of an embryo in an early pregnancy ultrasound before the baby has formed a recognizable human shape. Certainly, it can be unnerving to go in for an early pregnancy ultrasound and be told there is no fetal pole or an "empty gestational sac." Obviously, it would be far more reassuring to see a baby developing right on schedule for what was expected, and ideally with a strong fetal heartbeat. dont worry after some weeks fetal pole and yolk will seen.

Question: 5 weeks 2 days only gestational sac is. No yolk or fatal pole seen. M worried.
Answer: Hello dear, sometimes doctor didn't find fetel pole and yolk sac in early pregnancy. The fetal pole is a thickening on the margin of the yolk sac of a fetus during pregnancy. It is usually identified at 8 weeks with abdominal ultrasound imaging, and 6 weeks with vaginal ultrasound imaging. However it is quite normal for the fetal pole to not be visible until about 9 weeks. Hope it helped, Take care urself...
