Question: My baby is on both bf and formula..bf is not sufficient for him so we r giving formula..He is passing stool in dark green colour..because Of giving formula his stool is green colour ?

Dear green stool is usually the result of a high quantity of leafy, green vegetables in mother's diet.If food moves too quickly through the intestine, bile pigment can't break down sufficient lying, resulting in green frothy stool. Nothing to worry, however, you can apply little asafoetida mixed in luke warm water on the tummy of your baby twice or thrice, it will give him/her some relief.... Other than this, the best way of increasing breast feed is nurse, nurse and nurse your baby. Also, it is very important that your baby takes feed in the correct way. If he/she is unable to latch on to the nipple or is in the wrong position, he/she will find it hard to feed.  Moreover, include oatmeal, fenugreek, garlic, spinach, green leafy vegetables and dry fruits, in your diet.. It will give you some help in breast milk production..

Answer: Hello dear. It could be due to that. You can try changing brand of the formula milk as sometimes some brands do not suit the babies and they get digestion issues. If it doesn't improve even after changijg the brand co silt doctor. Hope it helps.

Answer: Green color poop is normally due to green veggies in your diet or formula milk feed. If you are exclusively breastfeeding the baby ,poop should be yellow or mustered yellow. Hope this helps.
