Question: Baby poops more than 5 a day which is not watery ... N thus not gaining weight any remedy
Answer: Hello, when baby starts having solids the poop texture might also will change so this is absolutely normal. By 9 months, your baby may have few teeth, swallows food more easily and started sitting confidently. Hence 9 months is the best time to introduce most of the family foods in the form of minced or chopped (with few exceptions which includes salt, sugar, honey and cow’s milk).  You can try introducing her to finger foods like boiled vegetables just arrange them in a plate and give , also can give the food decorated with some smileys etc., so that baby get attracted to eat the food. Please introduce one food at a time in wait for three days and check if there is any allergic reaction, if you do not find any allergic reaction you can just continue the food. Please do not give cows milk till 1 year of age as the baby's digestive system is sensitive it won't be able to digest cows milk you can continue with the breastfeed. You can guve all fruits except citrus fruits, all seasonal vegetables with no exception including cucumber, corn, spinach and mushrooms, almost all cereals including pasta and mixed cereals, toor dal, bengal gram dal, soybeans, all dairy products except cow’s milk, in non vegetarian you can give mens chicken, fish and egg yolk. For 9 months old baby you can offer 3 meals per day. Rest should be breastfeeding or formula feeding, meal timing as per your baby preference. Hope this helps. Here is an approximate amount: Cereal – 1/4 to 1/2 cup Vegetables – 1/4 to 1/2 cup Fruits – 1/4 to 1/2 cup Dairy – 2 to 3 tbsp Meat/Protein – 4 tbsp Please include water as well. Hope it helps.

Question: My 32 week is going..i am not gaining weight after july..what should i do??
Answer: Hi dear, There is nothing to worry as it's very common problem and can be easily resolved by making certain changes in your diet. The low weight in babies is observed mostly in 3rd trimester and 7 out of 10 women have to go through this issue as the growing fetus needs more protein than previous trimester. This is the time when baby gains muscle mass and if mother doesn't increase her protein intake her baby will have low weight. From now till labour your baby will grow at very rapid rate, for which you need to provide extra calories from nutrients dense food, so that your baby gains weight in healthy manner. Eat a balanced and nutrition rich diet. Try to keep your diet as natural as possible with loads of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also include whole grains, proteins(lean meat/lentils) and dairy products(cheese, paneer, ghee) to your meals. Take your prenatal vitamins regularly. It compensates for any gaps in your nutrition intake and acts as a healthy supplement for your and your baby’s health Include dry fruits and nuts in your diet as they have healthy fats Stay relaxed and positive at all times. When you are over anxious, you tend to under-eat or overeat (mostly wrong and unhealthy food choices) Drink lots of water. Dehydration during pregnancy can cause many complications like headaches, acidity, indigestion, heartburn etc and can also cause contractions. Take care.
