Question: I did everything to increase breast milk...took medicine shatavri...but milk is only few drops....my baby is only feeding on formula milk ....pls suggest something
Answer: Hi, congratulations for ur parenting, mamma how do u say, no milk. Please dont judge by expressing milk manually or pumping out. Please try to stop formula milk. Go topless n have more skin to skin contact with baby. Try to cluster feed. Feed baby more frequently. Then check for babies pee count to be more than 6 and poop might be 0-10. Only for exclusive breast feeding. Please join breastfeeding mother group in fb and u will gain more knowledge. Also try consulting Lactation consultant. All the best mamma. Please dont lose confidence. Ur milk supply will increase only if u feed ur baby frequently. Drink more water, have healthy foods, ghee fried garlic pods with salt n pepper. soak Fenugreek seeds and drink it daily. Morning n evening.
