Question: Am suffering from nipples pain, now i using nipple shield to feed, without nipple shield i cant feed, if its effect to baby??
Answer: Dear do some hot compress on your breast and a mild warm oil massage that will help you ease the pain. Nipples shield is fine to use bunt don't overuse it because it's important that baby suck directly from nipples that will help stimulate your milk hormones and supply will increase. So use shield till you don't feel relief from pain..

Question: i have flat nipples and m feeding my 4 month old baby using nipple shield till nw. now my problem is that due to nipple shield my baby's lips going discolor n uncomfortable for her also but she refuses feed without the shield also she has a habit to sleep with weaning
Answer: Hi! I can understand how hard it is for you to cope the situation. Since your baby has started feeding with nipple shield, it will take time for her to leave it, but it will happen gradually. You need to keep offering your breast to the child often, try to offer breast and drop the next feed with shield, after that try again and drop next. Keep trying you will get the result. Good luck in trying!
