Question: I started holding my baby upright from the first month, coz I was told holding a baby upright will help him to burp.
I hold him upright facing my chest and with one hand supporting hit butt and the other hand protecting his neck. And she seemed pretty liked this position. My baby head is almost straight before I pick her like this.. Now it is very shaking.. Is this any problem? .
Answer: hi do not worry it is completely normal to hold a baby upright do not worry the baby will take time to hold its neck and therefore the baby is finding it difficult to balance and so a babies shaking its neck and there is nothing to worry .
Question: can i hold my one month old baby in upright position on my shoulders? ie position where head resting on shoulder and tummy on my chest. ?
Answer: Dear yes you can hold your baby in that position but only for burp and always keep your hand on neck because otherwise it will put alot of pressure on baby's neck and as you know that baby's neck is very soft and sensitive its better to avoid any pressure on the neck .

Answer: Your baby will probably be able to hold up her head when placed in a sitting position at around 4 to 5 months. Her neck muscles and head control should be strong and steady by 6 months. Give lots of tummy time to your baby which will aid to hold her neck.
