Question: My baby always put his hand in mouth and occasionally have dry cough. Is this normal ?
Answer: Hello dear,  Most babies start teething between 4 and 7 months. But at this age, a more likely possibility is that your baby has started to "find" her hands, which may become her new favorite play things. Babies have a natural urge to suck. This urge usually decreases after the age of 6 months. But many babies continue to suck their thumbs to soothe themselves. Thumb-sucking can become a habit in babies and young children who use it to comfort themselves when they feel hungry, afraid, restless, quiet, sleepy, or bored. Hope it helped, Take care ur little one...

Question: Why my 3 month baby always put his hand on his mouth
Answer: Don’t worry Babies find thumb sucking comforting and after a certain age give up the habit on their own. Distract her by engaging in some toy or activity.Forcefully pulling thumb out of baby's mouth is likely to make her suck her thumb more often.Show her that her friends don't do it and she shouldn't do it either. Use a substitute .Pacifier can be a good option on which the baby can suck instead of her own thumb. Have patience as It takes time to get rid of a habit. Keep explaining to her why it's not a good habit.
