Question: My BMI is 34 and thyroid (TSH) is 12.6 , anyone else have the same issue??

Answer: Hi dear if you are 7 weeks pregnant and the TSH level is 21 then it is way to hide and normal because it is supposed to be 3.0 during pregnancy but please don't worry about the medication dosage it has to be correct and on time so that your TSH level can be controlled and it is safe during pregnancy so you do not need to worry about the medication that you are on now just diligently have the medicines on a daily basis without any fail and to take care of the diet that you take please avoid cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, turnip, radishes, peanut, soyabean, kale, spinach can also help maintaining thyroid levels. Limit the sugar intake to balance the thyroid levels. Increase the intake of good fats like avocados, olive oil, salmon, ghee. Hope this helps!
