Question
Answer: hi dear! with increased amniotic fluid dear there is nothing can be done , you will need to take rest dear and keep a check on the fluid in the scans dear. this fluid is formed when the baby urinates inside dear. so sometimes the baby urinates more due to more fluid intake by the mother and the fluid is absorbed by the fetal gut dear. so it also means that the baby is unable to absorb dear. so lets just take rest for now dear. and you will have to know the value as how much its high . if its minor then there is no problem with bed rest everything will be fine. and if the fluid levels is very high then you might experience early delivery dear. take care.

Question: Hello.. Doctor said that I have more amniotic fluid. Try to reduce it. How to reduce amniotic fluid
Answer: hi dear! so dear amniotic fluid is produced by the baby itself when it urinates inside . so there are certain medicines available like indomethacin that reduces the urine production in the baby dont worry it will do no harm to the baby . and do not take them unless your doctor provides you with the prescription. it should come under control with medicines only and if there is more fluid then drainage of some portion of the fluid is done , but its done when there is more risk . take care dear! i hope this information was helpful to you dear!

Question: My amniotic fluid is increased ..what can i do
Answer: Hi. If your afi level is more than 25cm you are polyhydromnios means more amniotic fluid. If so you will be monitored closely as pre term contraction or labour me happen. If you're diagnosed with polyhydramnios, your doctor will order a high-resolution ultrasound to check for abnormalities and some test for a genetic defect and infections. You'll also need to have regular nonstress testor ultrasounds for the rest of your pregnancy to monitor your baby's development. And you'll be watched closely for signs of preterm labor. There are chances of gestational diabetes too so doctor will ask to go for diabetes test also. You'll be monitored carefully during labor as well. Because of the extra amniotic fluid, there's a greater risk of an umbilical cord prolapse (when the cord falls through the cervical opening) or a placental abruption when your water breaks. Both require an immediate c-section.
