Question: I am 8 months pregnant and when taken scanning my placenta is in posterior position covering the internal os. Is there any chance for the placenta to move from there? Is there any chance of normal delivery
Answer: Hello dear, Posterior just means that the placenta is attached to the back portion of your uterus.... If the placenta extends upto the opening of the cervix... It means that a portion of the birth canal gets blocked and a vaginal delivery or normal delivery is not possible. This condition is known as placenta posterior previa.... So discuss with your doctor as to what is best for you and your baby...

Question: Hii.yesterday I went for tiffa scanning in that result came like "placenta : lower uterine segment covering the internal os- complete placenta previa".what does this mean? And I want to know any complications in the pregnancy?
Answer: Hi dear, Am sorry to hear about this .but dear relax and donot panic.though this is not that common but placenta prevea in second trimester can fix itself till you deliver.but you need to observe for any kind of bleeding.do inform your doctor immediately about any bleeding. Most of the women with this complication would undergo c- section .keep monitoring the placement of placenta in your follow up scans.please do not lift heavy objects. When the placenta closes the cervix ,you cannot have normal delivery.Take plenty of rest. And be positive.
