2 months old baby

Question: I am a foreigner and married to an Indian. Currently, my inlaws are here with us to help me with the baby. She is insisting to put tikka on my baby's face(which I think is unhygienic and not looking good for my baby). What benefits we can get by putting tikka? I am feeling that they are involving too much with how I raise my child, to the point that it annoys me. And honestly, they don't even want to use hand sanitizer everytime they will touch my baby! I am feeling so frustrated by their unhygienic habits! I somehow regret why I did not give birth in my country. 😣😣😣

Answer: Did you share your concerns with your husband.. What he feels about it.. Putting tikka is just an old age belief to save the baby from evil eye....if they are so very adamant ask them to apply it on behind the ear...nd I think you are very right on your part when it comes to hygiene...please be upfront and let them know the di re consequences baby might face due to this..there are certain things you need to stand and speak up for.
