Question:I have gained only 1 kg of body weight in the end of first trimester.. and my bp is 90/60.. is ithis normal?
Answer: Hello! It is not a problem that you have gained just one kg. During the first trimester women generally don't gain weight due to naus and vomiting, but start gaining from the second trimester. Coming to the BP, it is on the lower side. Low BP wont impact much but still at extreme low may create severe issues. 1. Eat a diet high in salt 2. Improve your fluid intake 3. Avoid lifting heavy object 4. You may feel dizzy after meals, try eating smaller, more frequent meals.
