Question: Hi .. i have a sudden abdominal pain which lasts only for few seconds...this continous after sometime.. i am in my 5th month of pregnancy.. Is this normal???

Answer: Abdominal cramps during pregnancy is absolutely common dear..it is caused by the expansion of the uterus which puts pressure on your abdominal muscles and results in pain and discomfort... there's no need to be worried as this is normal during pregnancy..

    Ok...but i dont have continus pain...it starts n lasts for few seconds..stops and then again its starts in another 5 to 10 mins
