Question: Hello ,i have having this extreme burning sensation in my stomach. I haven't had any thing spicy but still.. please help me out as in what to do to get some relief .. can i try eno ?

Answer: Hi.. Dear acidity is a common problem in pregnancy due to hormone changes. You can get rid of acidity by drinking lots of water. You can soak the cumin powder in water over night, drink it in the morning, on empty stomach. It helps a lot to reduce acidity. Cold milk also helps. Avoid spicy food and food stuff that is hard to digest. Eat in small portions at regular intervals. Avoid late night eating. Do not consume any tablet or ENO on regular basis, without consulting your gynaecologist..

Question: I still have pain and burning sensation in the upper stomach...i dnt feel lyk eating any thing....
Answer: Not sure y u have pain and burning sensation if u don't have vomiting. Not feeling like having anything is common. But do not avoid eating bcz of this. Eat whatever is possible for you(except junk,spicy and oily food). Try having fruit juice or ragi poddridge or rava poddridge that should help. If u skip eating then baby ll not get enough nutrients for its growth.
