Question: My baby is 14 months old. His wght gain is fine but he's very lean. He's breastfed and eats whatever we eat but he's moody.. I mean he will eat whenever he feels like.. What foods should I give him so that he looks a bit healthy? Also he takes only few steps on his own and is scared if I leave his hand while walking.. He starts crawling then.. Morning breakfast --corn flakes/chocos/dosa/poha/upma/milk and banana or chikko shake, or papaya at 8:00 and milk at 10:00 a gap of 1 hous is good after eating fruits. Or try smoothies avocado is best yo gain weight and chikko aswell.
At 12:00 maize porridge with yoghurt, mixed veg paratha, sooji halwa, any fruit that she loves litchi or mango.
1:30-2:00 give half a roti or 1 that's how much she eats. Focus more on sabji.
4:00/5:00 coconut water, tang juice, pinnacle juice/ water melon, khakra, crakers or sprouted bhel, past light fried in garlic sauce, steamed fried vegetables or medu vada, kachi keri shikanji, nimbu shikanji.
8:00 roti/rice(brown rice is full on fibre). Dal khichdi, dal dhokli, wheat porridge, idli sambhar, pav bhaji.
See so this diet which I am advising you covers everything your baby needs in a day.
Optional at 6:00 you can feed one more fruit such as cherry coming in the season is very healthy.
Do not pressurised instead give variety.
There is no sense in feeding roti you must focus on nutrients, fibres and minerals too.
You must breastfeed in between as often as your baby needs you.

Answer: Try to make the food attractive. Make chapathi out of multi grain flour. Try to make stuffed paratha or try to incorporate the veggies into the dough. Same way, experiment with the rice. Make it colourful by adding tiny pieces or veggies and greens. Check if he is willing to take milkshakes(fruits and milk). Buy a container with straw to attract the child.

Answer: hii dear he having constipation beacuse he might be having more of junk food, chesses, white bread, meats etc. dont give your child food which hard to digest. give him food which is easy to digest and food which have fiber such as fruits (apple,ripe bananas, pears,oranges), green vegetables and whole grain bread which will help to prevent constipation. give your child enough of water and liquid in a day.encourge him to play outside help too.cycling,running etc. you should decide routine to give him food and that time you have to feed him on fix time.so he will have habit of eating on time. some time kids avoid to go to bathroom even they urge to go so make a habit of going bathroom after meal or when he needs to go.if your child fights the urge to go to the bathroom have him sit on the toilet for atleast 10 minutes at about same time each day...know his liking of food and make it intersteing the way he like for eg. if he like idli than make it using carrot or spinach.you should give him packet food ,biscuits,chocolates etc frequetly. you should not force your child to eat food, if you do so he would not like to eat food. have patience and try to feed him. you can use his toys or tell him stories during feeding him.but you need keep patience...once you feed him on time he will start gain weight also.follow this instructions dnt worry he will be fine...
