Actually it is not required. I would suggest yu should take a second opinion.
Dear are yu not taking iron supplements? If no then talk to yur doctor and start them. If yes then along with iron supplement yu can include this in yur daily diet
Non-vegetarian sources of iron include:
chicken, preferably the dark meat which is found in chicken thighs and legs
shellfish such as prawns (jhinga), mussels, and clams
Liver is traditionally recommended as a rich source of iron. However, many experts advise not to eat liver during pregnancy.
Vegetarian sources of iron are:
Leafy green vegetables such chauli, bengal gram leaves, cauliflower greens, shalgam ka sag, pudina and mooli patta, are a good source of iron.
Iron-rich vegetables such as beetroot (chukandar), pumpkin (kaddu), sweet potato (shakarkandi) and broccoli (hari gobhi).
Nuts, seeds and dried fruits such as cashew nuts (kaju), coconut (nariyal), pumpkin seeds, mustard seeds (sarson), sesame seeds (til), pistachios (pista), raisins (kishmish), coriander seeds (sabut dhania) and walnuts (akhrot).
Legumes and pulses such as soya bean, cow peas (lobhia), kidney beans (rajma), dried peas (sookhi matar), chickpeas (chhola), whole bengal gram (kala chana) and lentils (dal).
Some drinks, such as date syrup or fresh coconut water (nariyal pani) also contain some iron.
