Question: Hai i am breast feeding mom .. my baby girl is 5 and half months old and she weighs only 5.8 kg... What should I include in my diet to make her gain weight
Answer: Hello! As per the age, the weight of breastmilk baby is fine. Also ideally the baby should double its birth weight by 6months. If the baby is as par it, then it is normal and nothing to worry. Also to make the breast milk more nutritious try to have more of vegetables fruits, dry fruits, milk and milk products, eggs, chicken fish, dal and whole grains. Also I would like to add that weight is just a number. If the baby is active and achieving her milestones then please do not worry. Take care
