8 weeks pregnant mother

Question: Earlier I was not having TSH , Now my TSH level is 5.77 . Is it ok? or it usually changes during pregnancy?

Answer: Hi.. Dear First trimester it should be less than 2.5 with a range of 0.1-2.5, During the second trimester 0.2-3.0 and in the Third trimester it must be 0.3-3.0... Take your medicine without a miss, avoid eating kale, cabbage and broccoli..
Answer: During pregnancy harmonal changes takes place. If the TSH level is above 5 ur having thyroid u need to consult endocrinologist. If TSH level is not normal during pregnancy it may affect the baby's growth.
