Question
Answer: No u should not feed ur baby in sleeping position as ur baby is 1month old so she/he may be very small. If ur giving breast feeding take the baby on lap and mother's hand under the baby's head is the correct position for breast feeding if necessary use pillow under the lap. If ur giving bottle feeding put the baby's head on the pillow or on lap and hand under the head tis is correct position for feeding a months baby. If we do not follow this milk may directly go into lungs. After feeding take the baby on shoulder for 2 or 3 minutes or till u hear the bay sound from mouth of baby. Tis indicates that baby is digesting milk safely.

Question: My baby is 7weeks old.. can I feed in sleeping position? Is it safe?
Answer: Hello dear. Yes you can in which ever position you are comfortable with. The best one would be cradle hold. This classic breastfeeding position requires you to cradle your baby's head with your arm. Sit in a chair that has supportive armrests or on a bed with lots of pillows. Rest your feet on a stool, coffee table, or other raised surface to avoid leaning down toward your baby. Take care.
